Though this sound segment is rarely explored by the naturalistic style, it is, on the other hand, wisely used on the six movies of Star Wars, by George Lucas. Based on these six movies, the performance of the sound designer Ben Burtt will be presented and so will be the way his work was enabled to be introduced in the cultural imaginary. This article also seeks to clarify some resources of the sound discourse, as well as the methods to transcend it. Due to the initiative of CTAv and the sponsoring by Petrobrás, the magazine had a re-edition in 2001, on a trimestrial basis, having as its aim the discussion about the Brazilian audiovisual production, besides the access to an online collection and facsimile re-edition of all its magazines. In order to analyze the importance of this initiative, a brief analysis of the importance of the magazine within what is called cultural journalism will be made, looking at some changes in the editorial line of the magazine, discussing the role of movie critics and having as a reference the works of José Carlos Avellar and Regina Gomes. At the first axis, trying to understand how is the construction of a filmic narrative from the reflections with respect to the cinematographic enunciation, as elaborated by Arlindo Machado – in his book O sujeito na tela: modos de enunciação no cinema e no ciberespaço - and by André Gaudreault and François Jost – in their book Le récit cinématographique. In the second axis, seeking to understand the narrative from a denotative stylistic approach bringing questions related to the framing and the staging, which are in the heart of the mise-en-scène. We bring as a reference the analysis of David Bordwell, mainly from his book Figures traced in light: on cinematic stading. This author rightly calls into question the idea of enunciation and the importance of the existence of a filmic narrator in a filmic narrative theory. In this scenario, text books and their extra material packs became constantly present in the language teaching context and assumed a central role in the definition of free language courses curriculums, in teaching and learning methodologies and in language evaluation processes. In this context, perhaps as or even more important is the understanding of language that have the participants involved in the teaching-learning process of an additional language, since this understanding might define their beliefs about teaching and learning language, language use and evaluation of language use. The present study has then dedicated to analyze how a textbook evaluation pack is related or not to the conception of language use and language use evaluation as a social practice. So as to observe how close or how distant the material is from this understanding of language, a unit from Oxford’s Engage text book and its test pack were analyzed and confronted with the theories that understand language as a social practice. Adjustments and complements were then suggested with the intention to make the analyzed material closer to the understanding of language as a media to act and do things in the real world rather than a set of words and grammar rules. We believe the analysis; debates and results of the present study might contribute to a more reflexive teaching and evaluative practice in the area of additional language teaching and might be able to increase interest in new research in this area. The study consisted in obtaining an overview of ergonomic work organization. As a participatory tool in finding solutions and improvements, it was applied the diagnostic tool Déparis. It has been found that improvements relating to the physical environment and procedures are easily deployed and can be administered by an agency.
