This dissertation investigates the impact of financial constraints and indebtedness on investment decisions of publicly traded Brazilian companies during economic downturns. Utilizing a panel data econometric model, the study examines the relationship between variables such as leverage, sales growth, interest coverage ratio (ICR), return on assets (ROA), company size, and Tobin's Q, and corporate investment. The research is based on accounting data from Brazilian companies listed on B3, collected over a 12-year period (2010-2022). The results indicate that leverage has a significant negative effect on investments in unconstrained companies, while the negative relationship in constrained and highly leveraged companies did not show statistical significance. It is concluded that the relationship between financial constraints and investment is complex and depends on various company-specific and economic context factors. These results confirm previous studies on financial constraints, in which the findings for Brazilian companies are the opposite of the findings in developed companies. This fact leads to the proposal of the need to rethink the adequacy of financial theory in emerging economies, with poorly developed financial and capital markets.

This research investigates the impact of Brazilian culture on diversity and inclusion practices in large private companies located in Campo Bom, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. It addresses a contemporary and relevant topic that still faces significant challenges due to the persistence of prejudice and discrimination against minorities. The study aimed to analyze how Brazilian culture influences the management of diversity and inclusion in these organizations. To achieve this goal, a survey was conducted with 100 participants who responded to a 19-question questionnaire, statistically analyzed with both qualitative and quantitative methods, and supplemented by an extensive theoretical review. Data analysis revealed that, although there are ongoing initiatives and the discussion on the topic has become more frequent, prejudice against minority groups remains evident in the workplace. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of including all types of professionals within companies, valuing their contexts and individual characteristics, and respecting their uniqueness. That said, the study emphasizes the need for more effective diversity and inclusion policies and practices that go beyond superficial initiatives or those motivated only by legal obligations, promoting a truly inclusive and equitable work environment.

Process improvement is increasingly the most focused point of companies, so that they can remain competitive in a volatile and constantly changing market. The search for the much desired continuous improvement in processes is not an easy task to develop, but it needs to be part of the routine for companies to become even more efficient. Therefore, the present work addresses waste and inefficiencies generated throughout the purchasing process in the company Fagundes Construção e Mineração SA, in order to improve its processes, reducing waste and automating tasks that do not require human labor. With the methods applied here it was found that the new process became less bureaucratic and more agile, allowing the buyer to have more time to be strategic and less operational.

The development and formation of leaders are issues of extreme importance today, since any institution is concerned and needs to deal with constant changes and the need to perfect this sector so important for the development of the company and that normally interferes directly in its results. This article aims to analyze how Sicoob Alto Vale develops employees to be leaders and how this can interfere and contribute to the result, as well as to understand how the process of development of the people who work in management positions, verify how the transition of positions occurs and finally to present a proposal of development of leaders. For the collection of data, the documents in the cooperative were analyzed and a questionnaire was carried out among the managers of some service stations. The approach is qualitative in nature with content analysis. The results of the present study indicate that a development plan for employees to assume management positions is extremely important for the development of the cooperative.

Through this formal research, sought to identify the importance of cooperative education from the observation of a school cooperative since its implementation, assessing the impacts on the community in which it is inserted through the activities proposed to young members. The concept and history of cooperativism are part of this paperwork, as well as its branches, principles and values. The dual cooperative dimension: social and economic will be highlighted. It will also address the history of school cooperatives and the importance in the dissemination of cooperative culture, being the basis for Sicredi União Metropolitana, through its members, to have evidence regarding the impact of its social actions. In this sense, it was used a case study of the referenced cooperative to work with, also interviews, socio-historical analysis and actions directly related to the fomentation of a cooperative culture in the community which can generate major changes in the perspective of the members' lives. It is hoped that, when presenting this monograph, it will serve as a stimulus for educators regarding the teaching of the practice of cooperativism in schools and may even become a mandatory subject, since Brazil has a vast market for the development of new cooperatives organizations.

For this, it was necessary to conduct a bibliographical research, based on the Service Project, its reports and other documents. To support this discussion, studies that deal with Jesuit education in Brazil and in Bahia were used, as well as the formal education provided by the Catholic religious schools maintained by this group, in particular, Colégio Antonio Vieira – CAV.

This article aims to verify the possibilities of the actions of the Center for Itinerant Learning Environments, which will enable the development of a pedagogical practice aimed at meeting the educational needs of students inserted in Inclusive Education, for this we will develop works with the sectors of pedagogy, psychology, and physical education, translating into a practical format, all theoretical activities, from the various disciplines that make up the school curriculum. In this exploratory research of qualitative approach, we present a study with articles focused on the development of activities with inclusion students. work that will be developed by this Nucleus is based on The Ignatian Pedagogy and comes to contribute to the understanding of actions and didactic functions in pedagogical activities and contents developed in the classroom, consequently the human and integral formation of students, attended by inclusive education. With the purpose of working the cognitive, affective, and motor repertoires, from psychomotor works with an end, to develop the inborn reflexes, adding in their experience practical experiences of knowledge construction, providing, in addition, pleasure, through playful activities, promoting the growth of an autonomous, critical, spontaneous, questioning, organized and active human being in society. This proposal, we think that the teaching and learning process will have a pedagogical growth, which will offer means and paths for these students, to be protagonists of their learning throughout their lives.

The materiality of mutual help between people has been part of the early days of humanity. With the complexity of human sociability, it broke out in different ways of organizing itself. Cooperativism is a very clear representation of man's efficiency in organizing himself economically in favor of a common goal. The objective is to try to understand how cooperative education practiced in the Health Cooperative X interferes in the practice of cooperative principles in the daily life of the institution, especially in relation to the cooperative with its associates. The company cooperated in the area of dentistry, besides being a company that provides services to society, fulfills an important social and economic role, especially with the community of which it is part. In the process of the cooperative's work, it is necessary to look at the seven principles that constitute the cooperative system. Among the seven, this paper highlights the 5th principle: Education, training and information, is understood and defended by many authors as a basis for the others and for the good development of the cooperative. The research was developed from qualitative and quantitative analysis, and based on theoretical studies on cooperativism and cooperative education. Methodologically, a structured questionnaire was applied, on the theme of the research, to the members of a health cooperative and one hundred answers were obtained about the role of the cooperative and the practices in relation to the 5th principle. From the analysis of the answers it was evidenced that the cooperative under study fulfills its responsibility in the training and cooperative education of the partners. Also, that 96% of the respondents pointed out that the action of this principle is necessary in the daily life of the cooperative. Finally, 89.9% of the members interviewed see the differences between their cooperative and the other competing companies, which shows that, by the 5th principle, they perceive cooperativism and understand their role so that this cooperative is strong in the market and, consequently, fundamental for the personal and professional lives of its associates.

Play is a factor that makes the child active in his own learning process, which allows the construction of autonomy and solidifies relations with the environment and with others, creating bonds of trust and satisfaction, enabling significant gains in integral development. The objective of this research is to identify how playfulness, in the perspective of integral formation, considering the principles of the Ignatian Pedagogy, has developed within the scope of the Padre Arrupe School, located in the city of Teresina-PI. In this way, a bibliographical and documentary research, of exploratory and qualitative character, was used. As for the objectives, the research is classified as exploratory and explanatory. It was tried to use, as theoretical base, authors that directed its line of research to the presented theme. They are: Flecha (2009); Kramer (2003); Piaget (1990); Kishimoto (2012); Klein (2015). The results show that all understanding about Early Childhood Education leads to the discourse that playfulness is fundamental in the formation of the child and that both in the educational and social spheres, the play influences in a decisive way in the construction of the values that are being established and solidifying fundamental principles for the formation of conscious, competent, compassionate, committed and creative people before the current social scene.

This is a research about the perception of the Guidance Counsellor job through the teacher’s understanding at the elementar school, at public and private schools in the region of Porto Alegre, from qualitative type with a methodological approach of case study. The research instrumental were 12 (twelve) demo-structured questionaries that were answered by elementar school’s teachers from that region. The theorical framework was based upon Cortella (2014), Giacaglia and Penteado (2015), Miranda (2009), Relvas; Metring and Sampaio (2016), Theodoro and Karnal (2015), Tardiff (2002), Vasconcellos (2009), Veiga (2013), Vieira (2016), as well as, upon the Guidelines and Bases for National Education (1996), Children and Adolecences Statute (1990), Brazilian Federal Constitution (1998) among others. As result from this research highlight that elementar school teachers from the researched region consider the Guindance Counsellor as an importante funcion, however they do not know what are the actual assignments of the post. Teachers limit the Guindence Councellors as a profissional that corrects and disciplines behavior of the students and forwards them to another external professionals from outside of school. It is important that the person in charge of Guidance of public and private school of the region improves his/her knowledge and information about laws governing this function in order to act in the teaching and learning effectively.

The present article focus on analyze the development of individual and collective students who participate in a cooperative school from their environmental wich the cooperative's proposal is the procedures necessary to establish cooperative schools and the influence of this experience prepararing the personal and professional life of their members . The research took place on Cooperativa Escolar CooperSete in the city of Caxias do Sul / RS, through structured interviews. The development of the article took place at a very particular moment in our lives in all aspects, we find ourselves between of a global pandemic, social isolation, no face-to face classes at schools, when some reflections and difficulties, as well as surprises of how cooperatives can influence, in a positive way, collaborative behaviors in the midst of difficulties in the time we have no exact answers. The analysis of the results demonstrated the impact of the experience on those involved and its influence on the students' individual and collective behavior. The aim of this work is to highlight the importance of school cooperatives in the training of young people as well as the pedagogical possibilities of this proposal in the school context.

In this article, the objective is to investigate the psychological impacts felt by the teacher during the pandemic in face of the sudden reality of doing education remotely. This reflection takes place from the emergence of Covid-19, which consequently provoked a readjustment in the educational sector, reaching the teaching action, thus, the teacher through a new teaching model, which at first became remote, and later, hybrid , ended up being hit by a whirlwind of emotions, which often weakened him emotionally. To carry out this research, the authors Cordeiro (2020) were used as theoretical foundation; Moreira and Rodrigues (2018); Pereira, et al. (2020), (2002), Vital and Urz, et al. (2020) among others. The approach is qualitative, classified as exploratory. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were conducted with seven teachers from Escola Padre Arrupe, in addition to the application of the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) to assess the level of anxiety. The different discourses enabled a reflective reading in relation to the support offered by the School to educators, such as lives, training and emotional support through the Psychology Sector to alleviate psychological suffering. It is concluded that the care for the other recommended by the Ignatian Pedagogy was a point of help and acceptance for the collaborators.
