A dialética dos olhares e os dispositivos comunicacionais/midiáticos: um estudo das lógicas dos processos interacionais no território da crackolândia na cidade de Governador Valadares/MG

Abstract

This doctoral thesis aimed to study the logic(s) of mediatic processes, considering the interactional dimension of crackland, located near the Municipal Market of Governador Valadares, through the dialectics of seeings. It is justified, because the complex characterization of the procedural logic of the territories and their relationship with the problems they hold, challenge the response and solution capacity of the various actors involved, such as the State, the population in general, non-governmental bodies and even a scientific community. Based on this understanding, without neglecting the territorial conclusions of the previous investigation, but also recognizing its limits to research in communication, it became necessary to process communicational seeings that would make it feasible to face the research problem. In this sense, the dialectic of seeings method was developed, whose original proposal of tensioning and complementarity of the dimensions of the confronting looks, through different theoretical-epistemic-methodological-empirical movements (not necessarily in this order), permitted be extracted answers from the observables to questions unfolded from the hybrid configurations of the studied territory. Thus, epistemological interfaces and abductive articulations, processed in the research, led to relevant inferential syntheses, being able to contribute to other studies and, perhaps, to the proposition of public policies. In a conclusive perspective, the study enabled relevant insights, among which we highlight the suggestion of other studies on the circulation of meanings among users, the need for surveys prior to police operations in the area, with clear identification of traffickers and mapping of the locations used as a “point of support” for the sale / hiding of drugs, as the drug dealers, falsely transvested from drug users, have been growing in that territory, over the years and, mainly, the inferential / theoretical-epistemic contribution, that the research can be repeated and improved in other areas and fields , with the humanization of the view on interactional possibilities, beyond the crack.
