Inovação social e sustentabilidade na moda: proposta de solução habilitante para reaproveitamento de resíduos têxteis

Abstract

From the perspective of Strategic Design, this research has proposed a co-design process with experts and users to develop a toolkit, enabling people to produce from waste and contribute to projects that stimulate the economic viability of new businesses, social development and the closing of the production chain of the fashion chain. As a result of using the Toolkit, users have a different perspective on the value of small fabric scraps and the possibilities of adapting them to clothing making through DIY logic and co-design, favoring the culture change needed in the transition to a sustainable fashion system. The proposal proved to be appropriate regarding its usability and aroused interest in the development of new toolkits.
