Governar-se para quê? As práticas de gestão dos empreendimentos econômicos solidários: o caso da cadeia produtiva de algodão ecológico Justa Trama

Abstract

The dissertation proposes a detailed analysis about the development of the project of a Solidary Production Chain called Justa Trama. Justa Trama is the Production Chain of ecological cotton, and its structure is composed by six enterprises located in six states of Brazil (RS, SC, PR, SP, CE e RO). It ranges from the production process of ecological cotton, spinning and weaving, until the confection of the clothes, in a natural way. The purpose of this dissertation is analyze Justa Trama under three aspects: Local Development, management of the production chain and the worker’s process of subjectivity, understanding how their experiences provide objective and subjective alternatives in front of the current logic of relations and production in the sphere of labor. Methodologically, the research consists of a case study, whose data were collected through semi-structured interviews, field observations, and utilization of a field diary.
